I'm starting to feel a little bad for Bean and Ashworth. They are going to return to Logan and an unrecognizable program.

I did find it interesting that in the video showing coach Odom being shown the facilities and meeting with players in his office that they only showed Miller, Bairstow, McChesney, and Zapala in the background. Perhaps the video editing crew knew something was up or perhaps they were the only ones with smiles on their faces?

Not sure if you realize this, but without Diogo Brito on the team there would've been no Queta. All the teams interested in Queta passed when they thought they couldn't cut through all the red tape to get him here. Brito helped tremendously in the process with the paperwork. It also took Coach Peterson living in Portugal for 1 month to pull it off. Planets had to align for Queta to have been an Aggie. So glad it happened, but that situation is as low probability as it comes.

Yes, this is true. We had that open spot for Queta because we had go through scraps and many open spots when Smith got the job.

Maybe it's been mentioned but Jesse Wade is also in the portal. He picked us over the Zags a few years ago and then made a pit stop at BYU this last season (and got stuck in an elevator). I think he's too similar to Ashworth and while one of those guys is good maybe one is enough. I wouldn't be completely opposed to Connor Harding from BYU (Pocatello kid). He's had some good moments at Provo but once again may be a duplicate of Miller and though he can play a good roll he's not the creator that we are looking for.

I don't think I'd take Harding or Wade. When it comes to BYU transfers, Kolby Lee is someone I think I'd be interested in seeing in an Aggie uniform. He has some good post moves and is decent on defense. Plus we need some depth in that position and Kolby Lee would give us something there.

I wouldn't mind seeing Diong in a USU uniform. He always did a decent job on Queta.

It’s very possible that’s exactly what is happening but I don’t think they’ll be back either way. Odom had over a week to recruit them and they walked away. Not looking good for the new hire.

It’s funny on a lot of these you see two or three former teams listed. It’s like NBA free agency

Which is working out as well for the Aggies as it traditionally has worked for the Jazz.

Nigel does have a San Jose State (and Weber State) offer BUT he is STILL VERY interested in Utah State.
