30 years ago I'd buy that prediction.

Almost 30 years ago to the day of our game against them they beat us by over 40 in Logan. It might be our worst loss in Spectrum history. Glad we have improved as a program and they have gone downhill.

They basically were putting an NBA team on the court. That was the best team to ever come to the Spectrum.

We will see a lot of zone and we will struggle to figure it out. We need to hit the 3’s to break it and work the middle of the zone with Queta. Diong will give us fits.

Yeah, Otz was the coach at South Dakota State when Smith was the coach at South Dakota. I think Smith is 1-1 against Otz at USU, but the first game last year was oh so painful and embarrassing that it felt like 10 losses.

Teams that recruit well but underachieve terrify me.

I feel like UNLV is the most unknown team in the conference this year. They played CSU within 3 pts both games. That makes me worried.

For a team of players that some said were all “elite defenders” we have sure done a p-poor job the last game and one-half defending the 3-point line.

5 point deficit isn't too bad, but the first five minutes of second half are critical for Utah State. Also let's hope that UNLV's hot shooting cools down. Okay let's see what happens in second half.

And of course, we follow up the loss that felt like 10 losses last year with a loss that felt like 20 losses.

That game was death by a thousand cuts to our at large hopes.
