Solid write up. Thought the list of transfers we were in on was interesting.

Re: Aggie Article
thanks for sharing, I thought it was a solid write-up. I loved how Ragland described Ashworth, he is not the biggest dude, but has one of the biggest hearts and is not afraid to put his nose into any fight.

Re: Aggie Article
Thanks for posting. I was interested to see how the transfers that did not opt to join the USU squad have done this year. Here is what I found:Aggie19 wrote: ↑January 21st, 2021, 2:20 pmSolid write up. Thought the list of transfers we were in on was interesting.

Makale Foreman (Cal): Cal is 7-8 over all and 2-6 in conference. Foreman averages 10.6 PPG, 2.1 APG, 1.7 RPG, 36.6% FG, 36.5% 3-PT FG, 1.6 Asst:TO ratio
Ryan Betley (Cal): Cal is 7-8 over all and 2-6 in conference. Betley averages 10.7 PPG, 1.5 APG, 3.8 RPG, 38.5% FG, 38.2% 3-PT FG, 0.9 Asst:TO ratio
Devin Gage (Fresno State): Fresno is 5-6 overall and 3-6 in conference. Gage averages 4.3 PPG, 1.3 APG, 1.8 RPG, 37.8% FG, 23.5% 3-PT FG, 0.7 Asst:TO ratio
Terrell Brown (Arizona): Arizona is 10-3 overall and 4-3 in conference: Brown averages 7.6 PPG, 3.4 APG, 3.0 RPG, 44.3% FG, 42.1% 3-PT FG, 6.8 Asst:TO ration
Jalen Tate (Arkansas): Arkansas is 11-4 overall and 3-4 in conference: Tate averages 10.6 PPG, 4.5 APG, 3.9 RPG, 52.9% FG, 36.1% 3-PT FG, 1.6 Asst:TO ratio
Brown and/or Tate would have been nice additions. They are both seniors but could opt to come back and play one more year under the Covid mulligan rule.

Other than Devin Gage at Fresno, all the others have had a pretty positive impact on their teams. Any of them would have been a nice addition. One thing that seems to be a trend with these transfers:
- If they are stars on mid/low major teams, they go to P5 schools. They must want to play on the bigger stage and test themselves against better competition.
- If they are role players on P5 teams, they go to Mid-major schools so that they can play a bigger role. They decide that getting an opportunity to play is more important than being of the supporting cast on a P5.
