Re: GATA
Get after their asses. And it's measured by the tears of our opponents after they lose.

Re: GATA
Get After Their A$$. In terms of how they measure it I am not sure what metrics they use. What I see it as is a team that gets after it with hustle. A postcard play was last Thursday. Mitchell lost control of his dribble. It was probably 10-12 feet from Bean. Mitchell had the inside track, but bean just dove on the ground and made it so Mitchell could not get. While that was going on Worster joins the action and finishes off the steal and then has a fast break opportunity with Bairstow getting the points. Bean could have easily just let Mitchell get the ball as it was close to mid court, but instead he made an impact play.

Re: GATA
It can also mean Get After That (I can't express myself without swearing). As in "Bro, she cheated on you. You have a free pass to get after that (I can't express myself without swearing)."

Re: GATA
I'd like to see if Coach Smith would be amenable to changing the expression to LUTA: "Light up their a$$es, Light up the A".

Re: GATA
I believe GATAs are actually measured in the universally accepted standard unit, beans. Scale is 0.0 - 1.0, with 1.0 bean being full, unstoppable GATA.

Re: GATA
My preference would be to rename it the KTFA Belt. At any rate I think Smith should be wearing the Belt.BigBlueDart wrote: ↑January 20th, 2021, 2:51 pmI'd like to see if Coach Smith would be amenable to changing the expression to LUTA: "Light up their a$$es, Light up the A".
