The G League starts next month and is supposedly going to be a super short season in the Orlando bubble. It wouldn't surprise me if he is sent there and then brought back up to the Bucks afterward for the playoff push.

The other rook is getting some nice PT in sam and pats absence. Eventually that may swing sams way and he’ll need to take advantage.

I think Sam will need to further develop his PG/ball handling skills, and update to 2021 PG style hustle (not just walking ball up court) to have a better chance of getting more playing time.

I think it would be a huge mistake to play Sam as the point. I understand the bucks are less deep at that position but Sam will have way more success in the nba as a 2 or 3.

Appreciate it AK but I was talking with coach Bud and he said after the last trashy spam mail you sent them they don’t open your emails any more. So I don’t think they’ll get the message unfortunately.

Per Rotoword:

Sam Merrill (left ankle) is probable for Friday's game against the Jazz.
He missed a couple games with the injury but it sounds like he'll be ready to go on Friday night. Even with Pat Connaughton hurting, Merrill's not going to play enough minutes to matter to fantasy owners.

That was the right basketball move though. He guarded the hoop, not his man which is what they teach you to do in that situation. Obviously not a good ending to the play and you'll now be able to buy a plaque with Sam Merrill on it at the Utah Jazz gift shop with Bogdonovic dunking over him.
