Re: MW tournament attendance?
Nothing has been announced and I'm guessing nothing has been decided. The NCAA tourney is fan free this year. At this point I'd say chances are slim.

Still no decision right? I’m pretty sad they don’t allow fans for next weeks games in Vegas. I planned a work trip to be there during the Wednesday game... I really don’t want to miss the tournament too.

Re: MW tournament attendance?
There is a thread on Boise's Message Board about the tournament where they've reached out to the conference and UNLV. Right now the plan is no fans but it hasn't been ruled out completely and will be based on if Nevada is allowing fans at sporting events by then.

I’m thinking we should move it to a state that allows fans. Most at risk people should be vaccinated by then.ProvoAggie wrote:There is a thread on Boise's Message Board about the tournament where they've reached out to the conference and UNLV. Let's have it in Logan. We will allow fans to attend.

Re: MW tournament attendance?
I am hoping they decide to allow some, but I am not counting on it. It still is 7 weeks away. A good majority of high risk folks will have been vaccinated by then.ProvoAggie wrote: ↑January 20th, 2021, 10:09 pmThere is a thread on Boise's Message Board about the tournament where they've reached out to the conference and UNLV. Re: MW tournament attendance?
I had not thought of this. This is a great idea. However we see how well the mw adapts (look at the football season).sneed wrote: ↑January 21st, 2021, 6:42 amI’m thinking we should move it to a state that allows fans. Re: MW tournament attendance?
The only state allowing fans is Utah at this point. Let's hold it at the Maverick center or in St. George at Dixie State.slcagg wrote: ↑January 21st, 2021, 8:26 amI had not thought of this. Re: MW tournament attendance?
I believe that Utah is the only state in the west allowing fans. If they wanted a neutral floor there are plenty of venues in the state they could play in. I wouldn't be opposed to the Spectrum at all though.
