Dixie State
I see on the schedule it’s showing Dixie State is canceled. On the men’s b-ball website it says it’s still on. I couldn’t find any official announcement, what have you guys heard?

And a win against Dixie St. does what for us?
After our last game Team Rankings has us ranked #111 with an 8% chance of getting to the NCAA tourney and predicts we will finish 4th in the MWC. I doubt that a Dixie St. win would move the dial.

Woof. That game was just bad news for us. They really aren’t that good. I watched them the next day after they played us and they got run by a really average SMC.
For whatever reason, we seem to have a few games each year against lesser opponents where we get hit in the mouth and everything then snowballs to a lopsided loss. Happened against AFA and UNLV last year. Hopefully those are now out of our system.

My guess is we got a few more of those coming our way until we can develop our freshman shooters.
