That's all for Stall

Post by OKAggie » September 3rd, 2020, 8:11 am

Making official the inevitable. I feel for Klay -- he could just never get his body to cooperate. In the few times he had a chance to get on the court, I thought he showed talent and a decent feel for the game.

And through it all he seemed to be a great teammate, got his education paid for, and never appeared to complain. He's a solid Aggie, and I wish him well.

What a shame. But for injury, a probably serviceable post.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Stall had some size and strength and, if healthy, could have really helped bang in the post. I was leery of his ability to contribute from the time we signed him, given his foot/ankle injuries. Big guys just don't heal well/completely from those.

Dang. It seemed inevitable, but it sucks. Always hard to learn about athletes that don't fulfill their potential because of things out of their control with injury or illness. It can be truly heartbreaking when you personally know someone who has their goals of playing being derailed because of a bad injury.

Wish Klay well in life.

Klay's getting an education out of it. Despite his play not shaping up as both parties would have hoped, I'm glad he was able to contribute to the team as part of the scout team, and I'm glad USU was able to educate him and help him get a degree. Go Aggies!
