From what I understand it is HIGHLY unlikely that Both Gach ends up at Utah State.

So he's heard from a bunch of "P5" schools, a couple of high mid-majors and one from the WCC. Not a bad start to his rerecruiting.

Joey's post on June 15 was informing us that he signed with Minnesota. Perhaps today's post was to let us know that he is actually traveling right now to Minnesota. I hope we can get hourly updates on his progress. If he is driving, I would like to know when he picks up some snacks, fills his car up with gas, and/or makes a stop for the bathroom. If he is flying, I hope he has access to the internet so he can provide updates on social media, such as when he gets his drink and snacks. Very exciting times.

I was told that the reason we ended up not extending an offer to Both is that we didn't have two open scholarships left.

Well I am now a huge Both Gach fan. If Minnesota has another losing season next year they probably make a coaching change with Smith being a major target. Hopefully Gach plays very well for them.

So what was the deal with Gach? The original post said he wanted to go to USU. USU reportedly reached out to him. Did he not really want to go to Logan so much when the P5 schools came calling?
