The full game and a redacted 25 minute version is also on YouTube. A few observations having watched the game again:
1. Queta being called for being OB on the baseline was about the worst call I’ve ever witnessed
2. It did not look like Porter fouled his man on a SDS 3-point shot in the 2nd half which resulted in three made FTs.
3. During our second-to-last possession, when Merrill hit one of two FTs, he very well could have been called for an offensive foul for putting his shoulder down on the drive
4. Merrill’s game winner was an absolute thing of beauty!

The Porter foul which was not a foul and the Queta out of bounds if called correctly would have resulted in a five point difference in the score since Queta dunked on that play. The final should have been 58-50 for USU.

Agreed. I don’t like to complain about calls after a win because there were probably some that went our way too, but that Queta out of bounds one is really mind blowing. The ref that called it was the closest person in the building to Queta on the play. They didn’t show a replay in the arena so I had no idea how bad it was until watching the game on replay. He would have had to be wearing a size 87 shoe for that to be out of bounds.

Could’ve been even better. When Queta got that big dunk in the second half he said it settled him down and gave him confidence the rest of the way. Imagine if they’d allowed his dunk in the first half.

Please bring back Kevin Harlan. I don't know if it was Thompson but whoever landed him last year should get major props.
The two clowns this year spent more time gushing over Flynn's missed shot than on Sam's game winner.

I re-watched that game. A few things I noted:

*Not to say anything bad about the guy that hit big shots and THE BIG SHOT, but Sam missed two three pointers down the stretch that could have been daggers.

*Alphonso was huge in the second half. Back-to-back three-pointers, got fouled and made two foul shots, got a big offensive rebound (we didn't end up scoring on the possession but it was a big rebound), had a pass deflection that was going to an open shooter that could have resulted in a basket but instead was intercepted by an Aggie. He played great D on Mitchell, too. I thought we could have taken advantage of the Shakel-guarding-Anderson mismatch a lot more than we did. Shakel had no chance guarding him in the post.

*Bean's rebounding was spectacular

*Queta's two buckets inside of the 3 minute mark were huge. The two baby hooks from the left block.

Just a solid performance all the way around by a team that wanted to win.

One of the best moments of my life to be there and witness it in person. Basically been down hill from there.

It really was March Madness for this year. It was a special run and a special end to a special game. We will all remember this one because of everything that happened afterward. We didn't get our Cinderella moment again, but we will always have our what-ifs. I have come to accept that over the past ten days.

I don't know, I thought the ex-Villanova coach (can't remember his name) had a man-crush on Merrill. Watch it again and listen to him as Merrill takes over the game at the end of the first half and beginning of the second half. "...this guy here!".
