I know why Millers shot is off this year!

Post by troutputz » March 10th, 2020, 4:22 pm

It’s that damn head sweat band!
By the by, you old timers, do you remember who one of the first Aggie to wear wrist bands was?
Paul Hoffman. He also shot the ball from behind his head. Plus, every time he made one he would clasp both hands, and raise his hands by his head and congratulate himself. It drove Ladell nuts.

I saw the thread and thought you were going to say he got married.

He needs a sweat band because he doesn’t have eyebrows to block the sweat from his eyes.

Well ya, maybe that to! It’s amazing that when we do get married and release the little fella swimmers, that our jumping ability drops off. Actually, Bobby Knight and several coaches at the time, would ask their players not to have any num-nums 3 days before their games! True! Look it up, it’s in the book!

Seems like he should have wanted his players to be married then.

I saw the thread and thought you were going to say he got married.
I was going to ask the question, "Wouldn't that improve his accuracy?" However, I thought that might be inappropriate, so I decided not to.

He needs to have a baby. Remember what happened to Fred VanVleet in the playoffs after his wife had a baby.

He was a piece of work. Almost all of his shots came from the corner close to the baseline. I saw LaDell throw a fit a couple of times when Hoffman went through his routine after he made a shot.

I thought it was the same reason SDSU isn't undefeated and killing everyone: the quirky new ball.

Probably.

When we saw him warming up he was making well over half of the 3s he took. I doubt they have shot trackers in the warm up balls.
