Tickets for the tourney
Got this email about the upcoming games.
You can purchase tickets at the locations you will be able to attend and then charged if that is where the Aggies play.
Tickets are $100, then after we win, you will be charged for the second round.
(apologize if the screenshot is hard to view)

Re: Tickets for the tourney
Will we be reimbursed when the tournament is inevitably cancelled due to the coronavirus?

Re: Tickets for the tourney
This is the real question. It’s looking worse and worse. In reality, we are quite lucky we had our conference tournament early. The IVY league just canceled theirs all together. A few others have moved to players only. No spectators.
Honest question: Is there any reason to believe that the tournament could be postponed instead of playing with only TV coverage?
Go Grizzlies, Jazz, Real SL, Seahawks, USA! Go Aggies!

If you postpone it, you're going to be postponing it for a long time...the Coronavirus stuff isn't going to suddenly get better any time soon, or at least, not before graduation and NBA draft and all that stuff fires up.TrueBlueFan wrote: ↑March 10th, 2020, 10:48 pmThis is the real question. If I were to lay percentages on it right now I'd say there's a 50 percent chance of it proceeding as normal, 35 percent chance of going forward without fans, 10 percent chance of it proceeding with fans but with something done to change travel (first round home sites) and 5 percent other.

I’m guessing it’s going to be played without fans, which will be a huge advantage for Big West and WCC schools who are used to playing all of their games without fans.

Re: Tickets for the tourney
If they follow Coach Smith's advice and triple the cheerleading squad and media, there should be approximately the same number of individuals as typically found in the stadium formerly known as McKeon Pavilion.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑March 11th, 2020, 7:36 amI’m guessing it’s going to be played without fans, which will be a huge advantage for Big West and WCC schools who are used to playing all of their games without fans.

Re: Tickets for the tourney
The governor of Ohio has said that they won't be allowing fans for the First Four games in Dayton or for the first round in Cleveland.

Re: Tickets for the tourney
From the sounds of it there won't be any cheer squads and there might not be media. Only family members of the players...people tell me that I kind of look like Justin Bean.

So is radio and tv considered media?ProvoAggie wrote: ↑March 11th, 2020, 4:04 pmFrom the sounds of it there won't be any cheer squads and there might not be media. Only family members of the players...people tell me that I kind of look like Justin Bean.

Re: Tickets for the tourney
I'm guessing they'll have announcers there but no written media members. I guess it all comes down to what they consider essential media.slcagg wrote: ↑March 11th, 2020, 4:06 pmSo is radio and tv considered media?ProvoAggie wrote: ↑March 11th, 2020, 4:04 pmFrom the sounds of it there won't be any cheer squads and there might not be media.
