Brito just made up for all his choke jobs

Post by ThunderAggie » March 5th, 2020, 9:29 pm

Man was he clutch!! He scored most of his points in the 2nd half and hit some HUGE threes. Hats off to him! We need him to continue shooting well and playing with confidence!

He looked more like the "LETS F***ing go Brito" riding an inflatable bull.

Brito played with A lot of confidence. Especially at the end. I like that Brito doesn’t let a missed shot or bad play phase him. He comes back next possession. Milller and porter seem to be playing not to lose after a missed shot. Brito plays to win.

Brito has no choke in him.
He always plays to win. It doesn’t always work but he’s not a passive guy.

Was his layup not a goaltend too? He hit some big shots.

I thought in live action it was a goaltend, but replay looked like a clean block. Nice play by that kid. And hellagame by Brito in the last minute. How he hit that last three is a mystery to me. Everything was bad about that shot but the result.

We are accustomed to those ugly shots coming against us, not for us :puke:

Was awesome to see some of the guys really pull it together tonight. I love this team.

Brito definitely made huge plays down the stretch. When that 3 went in, I knew that against all odds, we were going to win that game. Wow. My neighbors can confirm that lol.

Reminds me of an Andrei Kirilenko 3 in the playoffs years ago where hot rod was calling the game and he said Andrei oh baby no... he got it! he got it!

I just watched the highlight reel posted in another thread and noticed something I didn't catch last night. After one of NM steal and scores in the backcourt he was inbounding with a NM player right in his face. He did one of those "think fast fake throw" motions right into the face of the defender, then threw a bounce pass to his left.

That, along with the flex after the one basket, then the super fast version of the Silly Walk with the tongue flapping gave us three great Brito-isms to go along with "LET'S F-IN GO" and the jig laying on his back on the sideline. Brito has some awesomeness!

Is it possible that "Brito" is stronger than we thought? Maybe he's stronger because the coach who should be the strongest and most wise started him instead of playing him off the bench. When you start a player you show confidence in him. The argument will be, he choked when starting. Well, what about giving him time to overcome the doubt that he was fighting? Everyone needs time.
