It’s time for hypnosis.

Post by FireAg » February 9th, 2020, 9:32 am

Coach smith needs to hire a hypnotist to work with our perimeter players to give them the confidence to hit the open 3s. All of them, Merrill excepted, hesitate to take the open shot. If we’re going to win any of the hard ones, we have to make some of those.

The win last night was 100% on the spectrum. On the road or a neutral floor, we lose it.

Especially porter. They were leaving him wide open while doubling queta. He has to take some of those and make them to open up inside.

Abel is extremely hesitant right now. They in fact just flat didn’t care about him when they doubled from him to queta because they knew he wouldn’t do anything. Has he lost confidence or injury or both?

No clue, i know his back is jacked up. He is more than capable at making 3's.

Kids have been hearing these "don't be afraid to fail" speeches for far too long.

What's funny FireAg is that my wife and I had that exact same thought a few days ago. Put them under hypnosis and get them to concentrate more on their shooting.

Dr. Gordin is rolling over in his sofa chair at that phrase. Your mind will focus on "don't" "afraid" and "fail".

How about "Have the courage to succeed!"
