We will not beat CSU at their place

Post by TheAggie » January 26th, 2020, 1:58 pm

or win any of other road games with Brock Miller starting. We were fortunate to be tied when we finally pulled him like we should have earlier. We can't depend on making the runs we did last night at their place with him screwing us up. Forget pulling him with 10 minutes left in the game there, pulling him with 10 minutes left in the first half if he starts would be too late cause we would already be in too big of a hole to climb out of.

I see your point but I hope the team doesn’t have the same attitude.

I really have no idea why he’s dropped off this season, he wasn’t exactly lights out from 3 last season, either. Coach must have a good reason for keeping him in there, and he knows more than I do

Will respond whenever you ask what the band is doing

Did Miller start when we beat LSU and Florida? :headscratch:

I opened this up thinking it was a post about CSU/road games, but it's really a dump on Brock Miller post. TheAggie with a classic Gotcha.

It’s the head band... he was automatic in warm up without it on, then started bricking it before tip of with it on.

I thought this was going to be an out jinx a jinx sort of thread. I’ll choose to take it that way for the sake of jinx karma or whatever USU needs for a road win in Ft Collins.

After watching the 2nd half of the CSU game, I think we can easily win in Fort Collins. But, we are going to need to play the right lineups. Queta struggled for most of the game, but was pretty good defensively. If Queta can improve his offensive game, I think we just have too many weapons for CSU to handle. If we can get even an okay game from Brito and Anderson and yes, even Miller, I don’t think they have the depth quite yet to beat us. But road games are always tough! I think CSU will be a good team in the next few years.
