Redemption!

Great redemption game from the guys tonight.

Bean and Queta played AMAZING! Sam was solid. Brito and Miller hit some outside shots as well. Dorius played pretty well for the time he got. Not Fonzo or Bairstows best games, but others guys stepped up. I don't know where Porter was, but he struggled early.

I am not giving up on this team. We have two winnable games before getting ready to go to Viejas! Lets keep it rolling boys!

Nice to see them close out both halves strong and bounce back. Still lots of ball left this season. Hopefully that Boise debacle woke them up. Let’s ride!

baffles me even more how we lost to them on the road. Great win, great all around play, except for the 5 minute drought in the first half. Looked like Bean was feeling better or more healed up than he had been. Good to put the smackdown on a conference opponent.

Didn’t AF go off on 3s in the second half the last time we played? They missed a lot of open 3 last night, that was the difference, they only made 3 for the game.

Also justin bean lead all in points, reb, and assists.

The whole team was dead and disinterested in Colorado Springs. I have no idea why. They lost because of this. If you want the statistic that lost it they got out rebounded by 21. But that's just the symptom of their condition that night. Glad to see them back a bit.

I still think this team has potential to do great things. Good to see last night that the players haven't given up on themselves yet.

a lot of missed shots leads to being out rebounded! AF missed a lot of shots in the first half and we had double the boards than they did.

I remember Bean being in foul trouble for most of the game. Bean was the difference maker.

Redemption? Nah.

One win at home over a crappy Air Force team does not redeem prior blowout losses to Air Force, UNLV, and the most embarrassing choke job I’ve ever seen at BSU.

Winning the conference tourney is the only hope for redemption.

This was a “good start.”

The team is still shooting poorly and Sam is also. That has to improve.

I agree. I’d call it a great revenge game, and a great bounce back game, but redemption is going to take some time. Winning the next 2 will also help. Bottom line, though, is that there is a lot of time for this team to redeem themselves. Last night was a step in the right direction rather than taking another step backward.

I didn't see the game, but I am glad we got the win. The past few weeks have shown us that nothing should be taken for granted. That said, judging from the box score our shooting wasn't great (again). And either our perimeter defense was very good or AFA had a horrible shooting night.

Not a ton of turnovers, so that is positive.

I wouldn't get too excited until we go back out on the road and win a couple of games in a hostile environment. Our last three road games have been embarrassing. Until the team shows that they won't fold without the motivation of the home crowd, I will be skeptical.
