We need Queta at 100% of the NBA prospect Queta rather than the Queta who has thus far played.

Queta is not listed in the starting lineup, FWIW.

When I hear “he’s a game-time decision” I believe it’s code for “he’s not playing but we want our opponent to keep guessing”. I hope I’m wrong. I’m weary of the game-to-game “will he or won’t he” pattern.

I hope he can get back there this season. I am not certain he can, but I hope for his sake he can. At a minimum I hope he does not suffer any more setbacks so in the off season he can have a full off season to get ready for his junior year or may decide to go pro ( I would guess Europe at this point).

Is the legend or Queta better than the actual Queta?

Queta not in uniform for warmups. Didn’t warmup with the team.

I seriously wonder if Queta is done at USU.

There is no reason for him to risk further injury with millions of dollars at stake.

At this point I don’t think he has increased his draft stock so maybe he sits most of the rest of the year and comes back to USU for his junior season.

At this rate he won’t even get drafted. He doesn’t have millions at stake.

I was looking around the other day and I did not see queta on any mock drafts. What he needs most is to get healthy and then show what he can do.

From what I understand Neemias is expected to return to Utah State for his junior season.

Guess that’s the silver lining to this season. It will always feel “what-if” to me since his injury kinda ruined Merrill’s senior season. It could have been a special “all-time” season.

I hope you're right, but I remember hearing that Jordan Love was coming back for his Senior year so I think it's really early for anything to be set in stone.

Love is leaving because he’s still a 1st-2nd round pick. Queta won’t be drafted unless he came back next game and absolutely dominated the rest of the season.

Time has run out to show he’s worthy of a first round draft pick. He will need his JR season.

I got that feeling as the season went on. Queta has yet to be healthy this season. It has been rough for everyone.

He already staked his millions on an amateur youth team in Portugal this past summer. At this point, I'd rather see him recover and come back strong next season to help USU and rebuild his pro stock potential so he can make a good living for himself and his family, and also to further his education in the event that his injury is worse than it already seems.

To clarify my point, I wonder if his "handlers" advise him not to play at risk of further injury.

Someone of his size will get paid to play basketball somewhere, even if it isn't in the NBA.

Love's projections are based on his physical attributes and certainly not on his performance on the field in 2019. I have to think Queta will get the same attention due to his physical makeup.

Personally, I think he definitely needs at least another full year of college basketball. But, I wouldn't be surprised if a Euro team offered him some good money in a few months.

Is that the going rate to get a player to return these days. I’m glad you’re willing to make that sacrifice because I would have a hard time parting with my left one.

What I'm hearing is that recruiting is getting nuts these days.
I know a little bit about who we could be targeting. But what do you mean by "nuts"?

When I said "recruiting is getting nuts" I meant that literally, not the common idiom. I suppose I could have said "recruiting is about obtaining testicles", but it just doesn't flow as easily.
