I'm quite disappointed that my name kept coming up in last nights LSU game chat. First of all, go back and read what I said last summer about our PG situation. I never said we didn't need one. I said we weren't recruiting one. Why did I say that? Because I was told we weren't.

If one or more of you has an issue with me and the info I provide, please feel free to PM me here or DM me on Twitter. I have a handle here on the board but I don't hide who I am. Hell, I invite people to come say hi! At least that way we can discuss the issue rather than have my name tossed around in a chat room I wasn't even participating in last night.

What was said in chat? If you’re calling ‘22 out then you’ve got the problem. I have always found him to be fair and honest. Unlike most of us, he doesn’t hid behind a handle. His information is usually very accurate. ‘22 doesn’t hit 1.000, things are fluid, sources feed bad info, and sometimes things are misunderstood.

He has helped connect countless kids with coaches to get them here at Utah State and provides coverage no one else does. He is a huge asset and one of the few with real info that hasn’t been run off...yet.

Yeah don’t pay attention to the nonsense in there. I think half of the posters in there jumped off a bridge at halftime so they won’t be posting much anymore

I seem to remember that even though you said we weren't "recruiting" a PG, it didn't mean that the staff wasn't looking. I took it as meaning that they just weren't sold on what was available (that we had a chance at) that would fit.

I noticed the references in chat also, along with the comments that implied that Smith and staff were asleep at the wheel when it came to recruiting. Fan's opinions and Monday morning QBing are one thing, but some of the comments were just plain ignorant.

Chat is just the fan brain vomit during the game. I don’t take it too seriously. There are fun times in chat as well. I do think we saw a couple of players that may hurt us against good competition. Porter is an okay player, but he is a weak link at times too. I do wish we had someone better, but I’m with Coach Dale. “This is your team.”

Never been in chat and never will. Anyone that called the season over and questioned this team is first of all an idiot. 2nd they must not have been watching at all last year. How many times do they have to grind out a tough win before people will believe in them.

That is what I told my brother. After last year I never count this team out. They find a way to win

Aggie22 is the best source on this board. I stated earlier how completely disappointed I was watching Chat last night. I was embarrassed by it realizing other fans from other teams can see how childish we get. Calling our team over rated, saying players suck, and on and on. It's time to grow up for many. No, I'm not your Dad, but some of you might take this advice to heart. I've decided to simply no longer look at chat. Therefore the ones who disagree with me can start telling me how wrong I am. When we blow a 19 point lead, then I'll objectively say we got out butt's kicked. But I will never single out a young man for making an error. Especially when we are all hidden behind some fake name. Never! Go Aggies I'm done preaching, as I realize it only makes me feel better and most will disagree with me.

Chat is a lot more fun if you make use of the ignore feature. It's amazing how much better it is when you block a few negative nancies.

I only go to chat long enough to get the link. I’ve never been able to watch and chat about the game simultaneously anyways.

Posts in chat occur in real time as the game is unfolding. People are whiny and not very thoughtful in the moment— at least I am.

Those bothered by the real-time venting of others should either: (1) come to terms with the fact that chat is the thoughtless id of the board used for in-game venting and celebration and not let it affect your game experience; or (2) not visit chat.

Chat does a great job for filtering out some of my dumber thoughts so they don’t make their way to this board, for what that’s worth.

I don’t know why anyone would come after aggies22 though. That man is a SAINT!

I never go on to chat during the games but I just went through the transcript that was quite the display. Shout out to Gus, ProvoAggie and blueAggie seems like those were about the only three that gave them any hope before the comeback.
