98% chance to lose
We had a 98% chance of losing with 13 minutes left and down 17. Wow what a game! They never give up!

Re: 98% chance to lose
I still can't believe it.
NO AGGIE TEAM HAS EVER DONE THIS BEFORE.
And I'm very happy to eat my pessimism now. This LSU team was legit. IMO, they are at least as good as any team on the schedule.

Re: 98% chance to lose
It was really disturbing to watch chat. We are every bit as negative as the A hole cougar fans. Really bothered me! I get the emotion, but it was sickening. I have to learn to not look at Chat.

Meh, we're like every fan base. Negative when things are going bad, ectsatic when they go good.

Re: 98% chance to lose
It really does get frustrating. The entire season was over and we had no chance of ever bouncing back from this horrible loss 10 minutes in. Some people need to just sit back and realize that basketball is a game of runs and even if you lose it isn't the end of the world. We lost a conference game by 23 last year...that didn't end our season. We have a good team that will probably slip up along the way some where and it won't be the end of the world when it happens.

Re: 98% chance to lose
I was one who didn't believe when I was seeing the exact thing that we'd seen against p5 teams being repeated again.
The difference? This time this Aggie team proved everyone that they aren't the same as before. I love it!

Great post. We are going to have games that the team slips up, but we need to not give up on this team. This win will be huge as the season goes on and when things are going tough they can point to this game.

Re: 98% chance to lose
You said it better than I could, the negativity by a least some of the fans is stunning considering the recent success of both of the major programs. It's almost like some have never been through a basketball season before.ProvoAggie wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2019, 7:44 pmIt really does get frustrating. Believe me, I thought this game was a lost cause especially down 19 at one point, my only hope is that we would rally and make the game close, but I wasn't ready to give up on the season, wow, i just don't get get that.

Re: 98% chance to lose
I had a work function, so missed Chat tonight, but sat down to watch the game on the DVR as soon as I got home. Watched it start to finish. Amazing. But missing out on Chat makes me wonder how many fans were ready to give up down 17 in the first and 19 in the second?Aggieiester wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2019, 7:35 pmYep the team didn't quit, unlike a bunch of the fans.

I just skimmed back through the transcript. I didn't think it was that bad. The game was going very badly for a while there. Folks were obviously frustrated.

There’s 30 something pages. It’s good to read the first half because of how cocky they were and then enjoy the meltdown in the second half of the pages.
