Big wins for Aggie opponents recently
New Mexico won last night at NMSU. 78-77
Both teams struggled from 3 but NMSU couldn't stop shooting them. This snapped a 5 game losing streak for the Lobos to NMSU. Before that I recall NMSU rarely winning those games. NMSU plays Colorado State soon. New Mexico is now 5-1.
OOC game idea. Play NMSU on a neutral floor in Las Vegas?
Boise State won a home game against BYU. This is a good win for the conference also. 72-68 in OT.
BYU was just coming off a buzzer beater win at Houston. Boise State previously had been a disappointment in OOC.
Saint Marys recently won at Fresno State. I was hoping that the Bulldogs would pull the upset based on the Winthrop common opponent, but no. SMC is now 4-1.
SDSU is now 4-0 after a win at San Diego.
On a negative note, Colorado State (Lost at home to Arkansas State) and UNLV have disappointed in OOC so far. CSU is 3-2 and UNLV is 2-4. Those are two teams that I thought would improve.
Florida won last night and is now 3-2.
Montana State lost at Grand Canyon and is now 3-2.
UVU is now 3-3 after losing to Lamar and Kentucky. They gave Kentucky a good game.
South Florida is now 2-2 after beating Wofford.
North Texas is now 2-3 after beating NC A&T.

Good stuff.
Love the suggestion about playing NMSU but that should be a home and home.
Also Fresno and st Mary’s was played in Sacramento.

Would 100 percent support a home and home with the NewMags. They continue to have a competitive team, it's probably they end up in the tourney relatively often given the WAC has very few real contenders, and I simply think there's a lot more storyline and history to intrigue us fans in playing NMSU versus playing a Denver or a UTSA.

That's the same attitude that about 300 teams have about playing in the Spectrum, which is why we're "enjoying" the likes of Eastern Oregon and St. Katherine (fun fact: USK has 275 full-time equivalent students enrolled this year).AggieFBObsession wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2019, 7:12 amI can't stand the idea of playing in the Pan Am. I'd love to see a long-term Aggie v. Aggie series.
