Tough blow for Boise

Post by bpd » November 16th, 2019, 10:54 pm

Boise was expecting to get transfers eligible this year and so was I. This is why I expected them to be good. Well, they haven't heard on the Oregon transfer yet, but the NCAA ruled that their Arizona transfer, Akot is not eligible this year. This is a major blow for them as they need a big in the worst way.

The Oregon kid, Kigab, will be eligible at semester, but they are hurting big time for a big.

Akot isn't a big though. He's a 2/3.

They have Duryea. They'll be fine.

Maybe he can put on a concert for us though.

This is what happens when you put too much stock in transfers. It is fine to have some transfers but the way to build a program is by bringing in freshman, impact jc players and high caliber d1 or graduate transfers. The key is to develop freshman and have them grow.
