Bean is now poised for Aggie Legend status.
One of my all-time favorite Aggie memories was being in that tiny excuse of a gym in Moraga when we played St. Mary's in '11. I lost my mind when Jardine had his monster dunk. Then a picture of the wreckage was my FB profile pic for weeks.

I can only hope Bean does the same.

Every time I see this picture I have to zoom in on the kid at the bottom.

Bean did his best impression of this dunk tonight. Didn't quite 'ram' it home with force but pretty nice getting the putback off the Miller missed 3.

The best dunk of that picture is still the kid. Pretty sad for Jardine. His greatest moment was outdone by an 8 year old kid under the hoop.

Focusing back on Bean, I noticed (on replay) that he came back into the game late in the first half and had three "and-ones" - making all the free throws - over the course of just over 3 minutes.

Though it's hard to measure the impact, an "and-one" with a made FT is possibly better than a 3-pt shot in that there is a pause in clock time for the fans to relish the play and the fact that in addition to the three points there is a foul on the other team.

And he did it at 4:50, 4:13 and 1:46.

He was in a zone.

If our football team is a blue collar program our basketball team is a facemask program! I would not be surprized if Newbold or Nate Harris wore a mask. Although I do not specifically remember it, it is not difficult for me to imagine either of them wearing one, especially Tyler Newbold.
I think I remember Stew wearing one on the sideline while coaching. Anyone recall?
Yeah, wasn’t it after he took an elbow while doing the sweep dance?
Okay photoshop anyone??
