Air Force lost to Idaho State at home. Idaho State lost to Wyoming. Idaho State's junior guard, Tarik Cool, is averaging 24.5 pts, 4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1 steal, and 56% FG% against Mountain West competition.

It's interesting that Tarik was recruited out of high school by USU but chose to go to Dixie State instead. Cool went to Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon where he was the Northwest Athletic Conference Southern Region Most Valuable Player following the 2018-19 season, when he averaged 22.7 points, 4.7 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game. Cool shot 49.5% from the floor and 38.6% from the arc.

That was a bad loss for AF. AF returned basically their whole team and was supposed to be competitive.
