Looking back...
I thought this thread was an interesting read. Looking back i was cautiously optimistic for the smith era. I thought not having koby would really hurt us, and maybe it did... but i don't think anyone saw what was coming. What a great year!

Maybe I’m the minority but I totally think that losing Koby helped the team become just that, a team. It was a blessing in disguise I think.

I tend to be overly optimistic, but after I heard Smith speak for the first time I was convinced he was gonna be a good coach. Even with that I still only had the Aggies at 3rd on my mountain west predictions.
