Preseason ESPN Bracketology

ESPN just updated their bracketology and Utah State is a #6 seed playing #11 Washington! That would be very funny if Utah State played Washington again. I would love a rematch, although they could be a big sleeper team with some top recruits this offseason, including Jaden McDaniels. I know it’s so far away, but AWESOME to already be predicted so high. Can’t think of another time an Aggie team has been rated this high preseason both in rankings and bracketology. Awesome time to be an Aggie!! :scotsman:

The location for that would be awesome as well. Easy driving for me.

ESPN showed their east coast bias again. 2 from the PAC and WCC, 1 from the MWC, and 1 from the rest of Western leagues, all very low seeded.

I hope we work on how to attack a zone.

While I agree we'd have to improve against the zone if we played them again, Thybulle was a generational defensive player and would have given a lot of teams fits that day offensively. UNC matched up really well against them athletically

We need to make sure we have consistent outside shooting threats to help Sam out so teams can't key on him so hard, think Miller will turn into that guy along with some of the incoming recruits

They actually had 3 from the PAC12....Oregon, Wash. and ASU. But there should be 2 from both the PAC 12 and the MW.

If Coach Smith and the boys can accomplish what they did with only 6 months or so to prepare, imagine what can happen with a full year+ with the program.

I hope they read the board. That's probably something they haven't even considered or thought about. :sarcasm:

interesting that Jerry Palm at CBSSports also has the Aggies as a #6 seed in his waaay too early tourney predictions. he says USU-6 vs MissSt-11.

https://www.cbssports.com/college-baske ... cketology/

Being on the 6-line in both those projections would make one think that we should be at least in the discussion for pre-season top 25 rankings?
