Jamaica Classic
I know this was mentioned on a few posts a few weeks ago, but I found the official website for the Jamaica Classic. We are in deed playing in it and the games are from November 22 to November 24 in 2019. They have 3 of the 8 teams so far, which are Utah State, LSU, and Rhode Island. There will be a total 8 teams. I bet there will be like 4 mid majors and 4 power conference teams. I love the tourney and seems like a tourney that will boost our SOS, yet be a winnable tourney! I am not sure when they will announce the rest of the field.

2019-2020 Non-Conference Schedule
What we know Jamaica Classic, Utah Schools, and some A10 opponent
No a bad non-conference schedule, I expect that we will have some P5 opponent too.

Re: Jamaica Classic
Rhode Island from what I can see doesn’t have any senior starters and was in tournament last year I believe. A10 has some good teams and I hope we get VCU, Davidson or Dayton in MWC/A10 challenge. Would be pretty good nonconference. Just need to pick up couple good wins and hope conference mates have better nonconference

Re: Jamaica Classic
It tortures me that this is over the home football game against Boise State. How is any true Aggie fan going to ditch that?

Totally agree. Quoting yourself without adding anything new is complete amateur hour.

I know... I really wanted to go to Jamaica until I realized it’s the weekend of the football game vs BoiseAggieVoice wrote: ↑March 11th, 2019, 3:20 pmIt tortures me that this is over the home football game against Boise State. How is any true Aggie fan going to ditch that?
I'm a reasonable man, get off my case.

This SB Nation site breaks down all of the post season tourneys. They only have LSU listed in the Jamaica Classic, but both us and Rhode Island are going to take part in it. At the bottom it shows notable teams yet in a tourney. Hopefully, more P5 teams join the Classic. BYU is in the Maui Jim Invitational with Kansas and Michigan State....how??

Re: Jamaica Classic
My bad, and I hope that we get a good SOS in non-conference play since our team should be really good next season.JFWAggie wrote: ↑March 11th, 2019, 2:00 pmThe mwc A10 challenge does not begin until the 2020-21 seasonSpectrumMagic wrote: ↑March 11th, 2019, 1:40 pmRhode Island from what I can see doesn’t have any senior starters and was in tournament last year I believe. I hope for that Utah is on the schedule, so we can destroy both BYU and Utah next season. I hope some for PAC 12 and Big East schools next season on the schedule on top of this tournament.
