Re: Tubby Smith
I've always liked Tubby. Not sure how exciting he is at this point but would be worth a look.

Re: Tubby Smith
Tubby has an incredible 40 year career. I'd take him over Many others certainly add the man to the list. My concern is he was fired and wasn't good at local recruiting.

Re: Tubby Smith
If you read this article, the reasons he got fired are almost identical to Duryea’s except that he won 21 games. We need someone who can connect with the community and get people excited. Sounds like Smith is not the guy to do that.

Re: Tubby Smith
Tubby has proven he is a good coach. Texas Tech was a dumpster fire and he had them in the tournament by year 3. He took Tulsa to the Sweet Sixteen. He took Georgia to the Sweet Sixteen. Obviously he had success at Kentucky.ratofallaggies wrote: ↑March 14th, 2018, 9:58 pmHe hasn't yet proven he's a good coach at the numerous schools he's coached. Pass
Recruiting has always been his weakness and he is getting up there in age and you wonder about his motivation, but there would certainly be worse hires.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
