South Dakota State

Really doesn't look half bad. It should be between us and them for this tournament. They beat both Idaho and St. Louis and have a decent record.

Currently in a close game with Idaho St. down the stretch. Maybe Idaho St. and SDSU jackrabbits are ballers or they are both bad. We'll find out.

Watching this game makes me feel more confident about this tourney.

Do you still feel as confident at the half with a 1-8 Bakersfield team beating the Aggies on the boards by 10 and with us shooting south of 30%? Sheesh!

Well that certainly was an underwhelming effort against a bad basketball team. Is this the year the Aggies finally lose a game in the Gossner?

Why doesn't Polk play more?

Bakersfield had 5 guys with 5 or more rebounds. We had one. They out-rebounded us by 20 and by 14 on the offensive end. How is it that we only were able to get 2 offensive rebounds? Incredible.

I can't believe we were out rebounded by 20 and still won.

So I was watching this a bit and most every time we put up a shot from mid-range to outside we would have 1 player trying to rebound and everyone else dropping to defense. This usually happens before the shot even hits the basket. Are we really so concerned of a fast break that we have to drop off that quick? Not sure if this is coaching or just a general lack of grit to go and fight for a board.
