1) I have never imagined someone going for a nose viciously until tonight. Intentionally, maybe, but not viciously.
2) SMC fans will likely point to the FT numbers. Plain and simple ... take the ball inside and you shoot FTs.
3) As bad as Pane's first half stats were, the fouls he drew on the SMC bigs proved to be huge in the outcome.
4) On the post-game, Stew talked about sitting Pane to calm him down, not to punish him. I think Stew is a master.
5) Anybody still think Stew and JWIII are beyond repair?
6) SMC had several players get pretty chippy as the game wound down. Even in losses, we don't see that in Logan.
7) Thank heaven they don't have tear-away jerseys --- we'd have seen a lot of skin tonight.

Good thoughts, especially #2 and #3. Remember also, that about 10 of USU's free throws were due to SMC's intentional fouls in the last two minutes.
