That will show on my tracker. Believe it or not, only 4 or 5 guys from last years team didn't get picked up.

I saw Will Shaffer who left in Spring; got snagged by ACU…They won their FCS Conf. ‘ship and are in 2nd rd of playoffs and Shaffer is one of the top LB’s in FCS this year! Good for him.

My worry about Teague Anderson leaving is that Hans has said that he committed partially because he wanted to play with Teague. It’s going to suck when we lose our oline guys.

I think it’s easier for a kid to announce they are leaving before a coach is announced. That way it doesn’t look like they are leaving because they don’t like the new coach. It makes it a little easier to come back potentially.

"With that being said .... " is the dumbest phrase in all these announcements. When they signed, they just said "Committed". I'll have a ton of respect when someone just posts "I'm out" or "Leaving". They don't have to give us a sob story of how much they learned, blah blah blah.

Broc has one year left….He also will finish with his MBA at end of this week. Undergrad and Masters with a 3.7 or so in 5 years at USU. So, contrary to a poster here;
not a of them are stupid or jus’ about themselves!

I don’t know

his decision yet. I know he has been very committed to the coaches and his teammates. Unlike others that jumped into portal either blindly or with connections in place…or for their own personal reasons or so. He had (I won’t comment more) but plenty of large P4 “door knocks” this past spring/summer….but chose to stay at USU with BA and then Nate.

I do hope they bring in a good coach/cadre of coaches. It’ll be his decision…but he’s not wavered in giving USU 5 years as a student/athlete and one of strong faith…

I guess we shall all see how the next few weeks go with players and coaches…..

I do hope for great things with Aggie Nation; most have been very amazing in Logan for sure

With a GPA like that, he should transfer to a school like Northwestern or Stanford if they offer. Go get another graduate degree at an elite university, get filthy rich (then donate a bunch back to USU...) If he gets an offer to have football pay for him to get a masters like that, take it. We will still like the guy.

Agreed about the tweets. If a player wants to leave, that’s fine. Truly, they owe me or any other fan any explanation. Get paid, makes sense.

The only players I begrudge for transferring is David Collette and Joe Tukuafu. None of those have anything to do with the mere fact of the transfer but the timing and other circumstances respectively.

No need to convince me. Save the goodbyes for people you actually care about. If you want to show me you love the Aggies and valued your time here just support your former teammates on Twitter from time to time.
