Donald Penn III

Post by FromLItoLogan » October 29th, 2024, 11:19 am

Aggie Legend Donald Penn II's son just received an offer from UNLV. Hopefully Cooper Bassett starts taking a look at this kid.

Fun Fact: Coach Vice was the OL coach when Donald played here at USU. This will definitely be a factor but in the end the kid needs to feel good about the situation.

I hope he comes here! He could play like Cole Motes and I’d never say a bad thing about him.

Donald Penn II is a true blue Aggie to the core.

My spouse ran into him at the Raiders-Chiefs game. We've seen him at several Raiders events over the years. He said he wanted to get into coaching college football, and they talked about Aggie football for a bit. He has been a coach on his son's high school team.

He coaches at Calabasas HS (one of my HS's main rivals back in the day). They used to suck bad until the parents got smart and raised money for them to hire away the HC from nearby Oaks Christian. I don't know if that's still the same HC or not but it got the ball rolling. Good for him and his son.

Back in the day? Like early 80s?
