What was your favorite Aggie game you attended in person?
For me it was the 2010 win over the utah county team. Not only was it great to beat them, but it felt like a real turning point in our program. That would be our 13th straight losing season. It was depressing to be an Aggie football fan. It felt like a curse had been inflicted on me. After that game I knew things had changed. The rest of that season was rough, but I've probably never been more excited for an Aggie football season as I was for 2011. Walking out of that stadium the excitement from fans was just a different vibe than it had ever been in my life and it has mostly stayed that way.

The home win against Utah in 2012. We didn't play a perfect game but made plays when we needed to. Close second would be the Boise blowout win in 2015. What an avalanche of turnovers that was.

2012 Utah. My top three also have a couple away games with 2018 @ BYU and 2021 @ Washington State. The BYU tears in 2018 almost made it the top spot.

Different sport, but definitely an awesome game. Loved that 94-95 Aggie hoops team.

Football, 2012 Utah. Not even close.
In basketball, I am going with the Richmond game at Navy. Cool experience being at Navy, Spectrum on wheels was amazing that game (even being on the east coast). And it was my fist Aggie game in probably 4 years and both my boys first Aggie game. Really really fun night.

That's a tough one. Its probably between 3 for me. 1998 when the basketball team beat #9 Utah in the Spectrum, 2010 when football finally broke through and beat BYU, or the 2015 game against Boise where they turned it over a bunch.

I'll try this again. 2021 at Air Force. The most intense game I've ever attended. You could feel the crowd start to panic every time we answered with a score. Logan Bonner and Andy Peasley were incredible that night.

That ending to the 2012 Utah game was awesome. Incredible season. Had that kick gone in against Wisconsin USU would have been in a BCS game.Madmartigan wrote: ↑August 9th, 2024, 9:22 amThe home win against Utah in 2012. The '93 Vegas Bowl win over Ball State. It was the first bowl game since the early '60s and, I think, the first Aggie bowl win.

Taking the wagon wheel back for the first time in 2 decades, in 2010 was pretty awesome.
The 2018 curb stomping of BYU in Provo, was also pretty awesome.

2014 game in Provo. They were honoring McMahon that night and were ranked. It was my freshman year of school and I had a lot of friends down there. I remember leaving Provo at like 2am blasting the USU fight song all down university ave.

Re: What was your favorite Aggie game you attended in person?
Football - 3 favorites
The '93 game against the why for sheer entertainment value
The '12 game against UNLV for the simple fact that it was the first time in my lifetime being in a full Romney Stadium with
only Aggie fans
The "15 game against Boise since it looked like video game football - turn them over and score, turn them over and score
Basketball - One stands alone at the top
'98 vs the u - excellent crowd, excellent game, was there with my now-deceased brother as well as with a girl I'd been
dating for a while who is now my wife (had to see if she could tolerate me in that kind of environment, and she was into it
almost as much as me), jumped around so much I broke one of the iron pieces of my seat in section L that I picked up
after the game as a memento that Stew later signed (it remains my personal favorite piece of Aggie memorabilia)

80’ sometime, beat the Y and goal posts came down. My oldest was young, and 40 years later still recalls that day vividly.
Still disappointed I did not buy the cut pieces they sold.

That game was definitely an underrated classic. Air Force was a 10 win team that year and USU was 1-4 going into that game. It wasn't one I was expecting a win, but the team played great and overcame some bad no call holds on Air Force and got the job done.VegasBornAggie wrote: ↑August 9th, 2024, 1:38 pmOne of the more underrated games recently that brings back some good memories for me was 2022 against Air Force.
