Maybe he is waiting to see which school will take Cauthen as an analyst and follow him there. Or is willing to go to any FCS school that will take him as a DC.

Yeah he committed december 13th of last year. Kinda reminds me of the Utah safety we had commit and de-commit last year within a 4 month span

Shaffer is listed by 22 as 3rd string, but after Alford returns he would be pushed to 4th string.

Will Shaffer was the linebacker I was referring to. He has one year to play and just wasn't going to see the field as much as he would have liked. These guys are competitors and they just want to PLAY, we can't fault them for that.

Last season, Mells was our best DT but had limited snaps.
And one of only a few who wouldn't get their asses pushed around like empty trash cans against every O-Line we faced...

My favorite called it moment (partly because it became a group thing at that time) with the defense last season was against Georgia State. It was the sack by Mosley Jr, and people like me pointed out that we have defense as long as we had Mells and/or Mosley playing.
