aggies22, you know that I love you, your family and your work.

I have a suggestion for you that will help the reader.

I get really tired of reading regurgitated facts about players. It's even more annoying when announcers in the MWCT or NCAAT are talking about so-and-so being a transfer from whatever school. Who cares at the end of the season? The kid has played nearly an entire year at that school. He's no longer a transfer.

Please just give us your opinion, and frankly, professional opinion, of why he'll be a good player based on your own observations of film and statistics. I couldn't care less what he did at his JC. I care about how you think it will translate to this team and this conference. I care about how you think he'll be a matchup problem. Because of his quickness or length or sheer determination to win? But mainly I'm very interested in your own observations and what it means. I know you do this a lot but I'm saying, please give us more.

I appreciate your comments my Aggie brother, you know I do. I give the "regurgitated facts" just to give a reader who may not be as familiar with the player or players an idea of what the player has accomplished and use it as a preface as to why I think those accomplishments will translate over to his time in a Utah State uniform.

Thanks, bro. I'm looking for more of your opinions. They matter!

By the way you're at least, if not more, professional than anyone that we have covering the Aggies.

I want to believe but the bowl game killed all faith in the current staff. Can someone give me a reason to believe?

We replaced all the defensive staff. Blake did acknowledge at the signing party how poor the defense was and bringing in 18 guys to address it.

We didn't lose the bowl game with the current staff, a major component has been switched out. We'll see how it translates.

The offense last year was good and there's no reason to expect otherwise this year. The defense was bad.

I wasn't down on Cauthen when he was hired but I wasn't excited either.

I'm excited for Dreiling. I think he's going to be good.

Dreiling. Anthony Switzer did however infamously defend Cauthen, but I also think it was cause his attachment to him blinded him to the reality he was terrible. I'm sure he is making it work with Dreiling. Ike also did once say in a radio interview that he did think Cauthen was a good guy.

This team with the new DC will be winning way more than expected, and the 2023 Defense was the biggest issue with it finding its way to be Brent Guy level bad defense despite having talent. The OL is another thing that could be very good. USC is the game that will tell us how the team will do since the pressure is on Utah State along with the rest of the MWC to prove themselves to take it to the next level in college sports.

If BA dosent stop jerking his QBs around. It won't matter how much the defense has improved. 🙃

Thank you AGGIES22 for the information. The background support about those players transferring to UTAH STATE helps me to understand more of where they came from and how they may perform as AGGIES. Always appreciate the work you do to present USU Sports information to the board.

I want to believe but the bowl game killed all faith in the current staff. Can someone give me a reason to believe?
You believe that we will win!!
I believe that we will go 6-7 and everything will be terribly mismanaged.
I see the potential to win 8.
A stronger/more competitive QB room and much much much better DC will help immensely. (Some impactful losses in the weight room/training staff; is not good and more integral than most probably know)….but the portal did help the team as well…..
