I actually thought Barthiel had a chance to be pretty good but couldn’t figure out why he wasn’t seeing the field more last year. Early in the year he made some plays but was scratching my head the rest of the year why he wasn’t on the field. Especially when our LB play was very underwhelming.

I was also looking forward to seeing his development this year. I’m surprised he’s no longer on the roster- I didn’t see an announcement or anything

He came on an official visit the last weekend in January. I had heard he wasn't keen on the distance from home but he clearly changed his mind.
