I understand there's probably 5+ threads on the game but still exciting to have a teaser, even if they don't show any G5 schools in the teaser.

today was supposed to be the announcement day by schools that are participating. Now they are saying early next week.

I will be on home leave doing absolutely nothing other than playing this game for all of July

Not true! Cruel World concert festival will be happening there this spring, it will sell out for sure.

Kind of reminds me of a marketing campaign for vasectomies. Timing it with March madness so guys get their vasectomy done and get to stay home and watch all the games. I wouldn't be surprised if I see a similar campaign for the game.

Charlotte’s Instagram posted some different Charlotte exclusive covers and then quickly deleted them. It made me wonder if maybe they’ll have some sort of cover exclusive to each college. They probably won’t but it would be fun.

That would be bada$$ and something that could possibly be done through a pre-order system that has you specify which school you would like on your cover.

It's also cool the service academies will be in there too. Their student athletes can't make NIL deals and so there was a concern they might not be in it.

Sources familiar with the proposed contract tell Extra Points that the base contract will pay athletes $600 for usage of their digital name, image and likeness in the video game, along with a copy of EA Sports College Football 25 on a system of their choosing. This contract offer will be sent to all 85 scholarship football players on all 134 FBS programs for next season.

In addition to the base contract offer, EA will also offer additional ambassador contracts to a select number of college football players, who will be paid to promote the video game on social media.

Holt said individual players will not have face scans for at least the first year, since the logistics of attempting this with over 11,000 athletes would be very difficult. But EA Sports is working with schools and roster photos to "create a representative likeness of the player."

If a player chooses to not be in the game, Holt said EA Sports will create a generic avatar based on the traditional strength or weakness of a position over the past decade for that school.

Gamers will be allowed to create their own players, but Holt said the game will not allow an opted-out player to be created and inserted into the game.

I could’ve missed it in the article but will you actually be able to hire and fire coordinators in this version? Nothing was worse than in 14 when you’d be a 54 level head coach and get stuck with a level 0 coordinator.

I went to play NCAA 14 on my xbox 360 in December. It wouldn't turn on. I looked on ebay to see what NCAA 14 was going for. Ended up selling it for $110. When I saw the price it was going for, I just ripped the CD tray right out of the xbox and threw the rest of it away haha

The buyer wrote me and said he thought it would work on xbox one but it didn't. Told him I was sorry that happened and wished him luck selling it for what he paid for it.

85 man rosters will be amazing. 70 was ok but I remember the years it was 55 (I think or close to it) and it made recruiting less enjoyable since I was constantly cutting guys.

Customizable conferences is also nice. I think the last couple of years had that so I will bring back the Southwest Conference and old Big 8. Can't wait.

I have a Super Nintendo college hoops game that has the Big 8 and Southwest Conferences on it.

I did find an article that stated that. Most players should do this. A free $600 and a game for being on the team. Why wouldn't you??
