Is Switz wanted the university to give them more stuff, or is he wanting the university to give the players the earnings from the sale?

Probably stuff. Never a good idea to make enemies with the equipment crew

I think he wants the equipment given to the players.

Just seems like he is always tweeting and calling out the program for something .

That is nice.

Unfortunately, without specifics or measurable XXX, what is he hoping to accomplish?

A firm hold on the doghouse?

His tweet from yesterday right below this tweet would seem to indicate things are fine.

Some of our coaches and players make it hard to support the football program.

Counterpoint — cancel the football program that is caught up in an unwinnable arms race and give the money to Sprinkle and Osobor.

Interesting take from Boston College's HC who is moving to the NFL to be the DC of the Packers. He said that college football isn't fun anymore. It's all about NIL, transfer portal and re-recruiting your team every year (current and new players) and there isn't time for coaching. So he left.

Now you don't have to just kiss an 18 yrs a$$ and then be able to coach them hard. Now you have to kiss their A$$ constantly to keep them. Can't think long term at all.

May he be the DC the packers have needed for so long.

Nick saban said nil wasn’t a reason for him retiring, but I think it was.

Lol I’m pretty sure he’s just joking around with the EQ manager. He’s tweeting stuff like this at him all the time. Some of you guys need to relax…

I don’t know…I can see how easy it would be to just give up on the college game. It’s hard to hang in there as a fan.

College football is a mess. If I were a coach I couldn’t get out of it fast enough

The mess that is college football and basketball is not really surprising at all.

NIL will enable what the Power programs wanted all along.

The upper half of the Power Conferences, the teams with really really deep pockets have wanted this all along.

The rest of us will become more and more of a de facto Second Tier.

We may all be called FBS, so the Power Conferences can fill their OOC schedules with sacrificial G5 teams, but in reality, that is nothing more than a cheap parlor trick to inflate their records and help their boosters and fans feel better about the state of the program.

The top 25 program programs legitimately compete for a national championship.

The rest of us compete for table scraps and bowl payouts that are the butt of many jokes among the elites.

As long as college coaches get paid the ridiculous amount of money they are currently making, there will always be someone willing to put up with all the headaches.

And unlimited transfers...what a mess.
