Heard the Vegas odds for the 2025 Superbowl came out and Green Bay has the 7th highest odds. Not bad for JLove, especially given that nearly no other team would trade skill position players (WR, RB, TE) with Green Bay. Rodgers had better skill position guys and he always complained about it but JLove just went to work. Next year they should get their best receiver (C. Watson) back and will hopefully get an impact TE and starting OL to help him out. Given an upgrade at offensive line and we'll see even better things from Love next year.
They should use a high pick on the OL, a low pick on a RB, and the rest on defense. Sign a new kicker too

They will definitely grab a RB in the 3rd or 4th round. Dillon is a free agent and not very good. Someone needs to back up Aaron Jones for a year or two.

It won't be a high OL pick unless for some crazy reason one of the Notre Dame or Penn State guys droppes to the 20's. They are literally a good secondary and DC away from being a legit super bowl contender. Brian Gutenkust is a genius getting OL draft picks in the 3rd-7th rounds. There isn't really a starting spot even open on the OL. Bahktiari/Walker/Jenkins, Myers, Ryan, and Tom are all going to be starters in 2024.

Sorry, I'm sure nobody really cares about Packers draft plans, but its related to what JLove needs to get to the super bowl. With how cheap their WR's and TE's are, now is time to make a run.

Hopefully they give Dom a shot. Carlson sucks and if the kicking game isn't better next year, Bisachia will be looking for a new job.

I though Dillon was going to be a solid player when they drafted him, but he hasn't progressed at all.

Bakhtiari doesn't seem to be trending back to All Pro status after his 32nd surgery in 3 years. If there's a tackle available, take em

His Twitter account is pretty active, posts are mostly in German, and during NFL playoffs games comments about game action or players. It sure looks like he's actively watching NFL games - but I haven't seen anything to indicate that he's playing anywhere.

https://www.footballdb.com/teams/xfl/vegas-vipers/stats
this stats page doesn't show Dom on the stats list for 2023 Vipers
Kickers listed are Bailey Giffen and Samuel Sloman -combined 9/18 FG
But neither attempted a PAT? They do show 16 passing TD's and 8 rushing - did they always go for 2? was that a rule in XLF?

Fun fact: I was at the San Francisco vs. Green Bay game. And I had three Aggie-related run-ins with people, as I wore a Utah State hat.

1. The First guy was on the packed train from San Jose to Levi Stadium: "Gooooo Aggies!" I didn't get a chance to talk to the guy before he was lost in the crowd.
2. Second guy was on the beer concourse, saw my hat, then asked me if I went to school with Jordan Love.
3. Third dude was a Utah State alumnus. Saw a guy walking up with a Utah State jacket on. I said hi and talked about our tie to Utah State.

We're on our way to becoming a hat-in-the-mall university. Maybe. lol.

The whole pro bowl is BS so that’s pretty on par. Let us not forget Tyler Huntley made the pro bowl last year.

As a first-year starter, Jordan Love has/had no choice but to accept the cards dealt to him.

Rodgers is a three-time MVP, SB Champion and will go down as one of the best QB's in history. Yeah, he's going to complain when, as his career is winding down, he saw the team wasn't trying to build to win right now.

I see that Josiah Deguara is in the Packers depth chart at tight end. He played High School in my area for Folsom High with QB Jake Browning (currently with the Bengals).

Jake played college ball at Washington (fun fact - his first game, and first start as a college QB, was against The Utah State Aggies in Seattle). Jake was unbelievable in high school. His senior year, he threw 91 touchdown passes..... 91! They played 16 games that year, including the CIF playoffs. But still, that's over 5.5 TD passes per game. And they played in the highest division of California football, too. This wasn't against weak teams.

The packers are stacked at TE. Kraft and Musgrave are really good. They aren’t adding anything there.

OL maybe but probably not. Bahktiari will probably be back and combine with Jenkins, Tom and Walker, it’s not a huge need. The GM always likes to draft one for depth in the 3rd round but that’s probably it.

In order for Love to reach the Super Bowl, the packers need help in the secondary. They need a safety REALLY bad and probably another corner because Stokes can’t stay healthy.

So combined with a competent DC and with safety and corner help, they should be really good.

Haha. I've been in your head since January 26?. Had this post locked and loaded for me huh.

For the record, I hate the pick. I think Gutenkunst botched the pick pretty bad. Cooper DeJean was there for the taking and he passed. Mitchell and Arnold were there too with a slight jump. With 11 draft picks, he was dumb for not jumping a couple spots or stand pat and take DeJean.

And yes, you're right. Apparently they though Bahktiari was cooked and with him gone, OL makes a little more sense.

We got a new DC and now we need secondary help early in the second round. Hopefully they can trade up.
