if Blake doesn’t fire Cauthen than that means Blake needs to go.

He is just (I can't express myself without swearing) lazy. Maybe it doesnt make a difference but at least load up the box and see how if the guy can throw. Instead we play 2 high and let them ream us a new one.

Maybe he did this in the 2nd half. I quit watching at 21-10. If he did apologies…but he still sucks.

Add the Oline coach. He should be gone too

Bassett should be gone. Worst Oline play that I've seen in years.

I have waited painfully to see how things might change or improve. They are getting worse. To loose like that to a team as bad as that one is unacceptable. Neither the offensive or defensive line have any life. I don’t care about anything else other than fixing the lines in the off season. Get a new D and O coordinator. It’s time.

What pissed me off the most is that there is talent that are coached poorly and benched, Mells is our best DL but never plays. We have big DTs that never play, so we get steamrolled by opposing rushing offenses. What happened to playing our LBs that played well against Iowa? Why was Dye not playing early in the season? The same thing happened on the offense. The OL has talent but again poor coaching and playing our worst OL on the roster instead of our best. The staff deserves to be fired, but I agree with firing our DC first. The OL coach needs to go. Pressure BA in getting some OC which many exist that would help this team by a ton. BA needs to be told that 2024 is his make or break it season. We should not stop donating to the football program because the new AD inherited this and should be given a chance to be shown that we care about Aggie football.

Blake is a really poor decision maker. And once he’s made his decision, he’ll refuse to change it no matter how wrong he is. Cauthen will be around because everyone see’s he should be gone and Blake is a stubborn SOB.

I called for BA being fired for a reason.
The Air Force, UConn, James Madison, Iowa, many of the 2022 games, and etc. games should have been wins for us, but not of a lack of talent but lack of coaching stopped us from winning.

Can we trade him though? Anderson, Cauthen, 5 olineman, 2 de ends, and hillstead for Jerry Kill.

Hillstead is the first quarterback that I have seen that was clearly a good quarterback who was coached into a bad quarterback during his freshman year. He is damaged goods at this point.

Forcing a 5’8 freshman to play behind that farce of an oline is criminal.

We have a team of OL who are better than those two, yet those two start every time.

The difference in sideline & in game energy between Cauthen & Banda is really striking.

Defense: Fire Cauthen and whoever is coaching the secondary. Cauthen goes tomorrow.

Offense: Blake is relegated to OC for the remainder of his contract. We have to buy him out and lessening his load would help. He obviously can’t manage an entire team. For the O line coach in the morning.

With bowl eligibility on the line next week against a team that just proved they can certainly beat us, if Cauthen is in charge of the defense for that game we’re just not a serious team.

His access card should not work tomorrow morning.

I was, then I wasn’t, but now I am back on the Fire Blake train.

He’s simply not good enough. We need to have higher standards for our program.

Yup, last night’s performance was uninspiring and dull. We made a mediocre Boise team look like world beaters.

It appears that Rocky Long will be available in a week. I believe he gave Coach Anderson his first D-1 gig. Long is the architect of the 4-2-5 defense.

That would be a heck of an upgrade, assuming he still has enough in the tank to coach a defense. He retired from head coaching for a reason.

Which is why I think he would still be game to remain a defensive coordinator. Especially for Blake.

That would have me incredibly excited for next season. His defenses at SDSU were nasty.

It appears that Rocky Long will be available in a week. I believe he gave Coach Anderson his first D-1 gig.
His defenses at New Mexico were usually solid.

Even Syracuse this year is at 47th nationally for points against. USU is 116th. We might be talking about the conference championship right now if our defense was at 47th.

Why did you do this to me? Now I'm excited. I was perfectly fine wallowing this week...

It would be a shame if we don't at least make a big push and determine his interest level...And if he is interested to do whatever we need to do.

No, we shouldn’t go get rocky long. Cauthen only had a two months less of a time than normal to get the ship righted.

Cauthen hasn't been a good d coordinator ever. And our defense seems to be getting worse. And he sucks at recruiting... How much more time should he get?
