We lack it and it just kills positive momentum.

Absolutely. My biggest take away of the game. I’m glad the Aggies battled, but too many penalties. It was one of the reason why USU dig themselves in such a big hole. They gave JMU too many short fields.

It's remarkable how this just continues to be an issue and never gets fixed. We win this game tonight if we have a shred of discipline and football IQ on the field. BA is an undisciplined coach who makes careless mistakes and wastes timeouts, and it carries over to his players.

Switzer spends a lot of time talking with the opposing sidelines. Love his play, but I wonder where his focus is sometimes

The word of the day. Again.
How many personal fouls? At least 4 or 5 from what I remember tonight. I think Blake is too worried about letting the players “have fun” which equates to celebrating every play, vs. waiting to celebrate a win. Leads to undisciplined football. Doesn’t seem like any of the excess celebrating, along with discipline, damn there’s that word again, to assignments, ever improves. This could be a good team. They are a good team in the sense that they keep fighting, and didn’t quit. You can see there is a lot of talented players out there. It takes a good team to get back into the game like they did tonight. Shouldn’t have to spot the other team 20 pts. or more before they let it loose and start playing. If I were the coach, they’d be running their arse off before the next game, maybe warm them up enough they are ready to play. Just for fun, tell ‘em it’s the 3rd qtr. for hell sakes at the start of the game.

Illegal block in the back
Offsides on the punt
Late got WAAAAY out of bounds on their QB

It just never ends. That’s okay, I enjoyed watching the D celebrate holding them to a short gain when it was 24-0.

We forced 5 turnovers and scored 38 points. How in the heck did we lose?
