Gary Andersen strikes again
This time in a very positive way, helping to found a NIL fund for all athletes.
Along with Eric Laub. I will always be grateful for Gary 1.0.

Re: Gary Andersen strikes again
Good for Gary. He wasn't the right call to be the good HC in 2019, but he did great things at USU the first go around and should always be remembered as the guy who turned as around from the 3 decades of horror. Glad to see he has a good relationship with the University to do this.

Once this and the Rocky Mountain Collective unite, moving forward there will be a lot less confusion and a lot more harmony among the Aggie faithful. All the big names involved know this is how it's going to go down. I've know about this for nearly three weeks now.

Re: Gary Andersen strikes again
It makes a lot of sense that we need a new collective since the other one is skimming money off the top. We all thought that the Dee Jones collective seemed a little sketchy, but really he was just wanting to get more money to the players. Props to him for pushing things forward while taking major shots from the Aggie fans. Glad to see things united again.

Re: Gary Andersen strikes again
Hope he can get some help of "hus love these guys" that have been successful after USU to be more involved with the team at least some verbal support if not financial. It was always the to "from Theeee. Utah state " from bwagz.

Re: Gary Andersen strikes again
We are all Aggies and all want the best for USU, even if we don’t have perfect experiences with the AD or other university officials. Gary epitomizes this attitude and I’m grateful for him.AggieFBObsession wrote: ↑June 2nd, 2023, 11:28 amI was happy to see this. And I'm happy that he keeps a positive attitude towards Utah State. Seems like he is aware the Pac 12 is about to lose a bunch of teams and is urgent for Utah State to be apart of their expansion

Re: Gary Andersen strikes again
The key thing he said was that he doesn't like the present situation in college football at all. BUT this is the environment we're in, and if we're going to compete in the Mountain West for championships, and possibly a shot at a spot in the playoffs under the new scenario, we have to have a competitive collective. Now he also said USU is not going to go out and buy players like some schools are doing. But this can be the difference in keeping a player that likes it here and wanted to stay here in the past, but bolted because they got an offer from elsewhere.
So good for Jim Laub, Gary Andersen, Dee Jones and everybody else who is trying to make things better for our athletes!
