Re: We lost out to Weber State
I wonder if we didn’t have a spot for him or lost connection when he committed to CU.
As for the other schools that he was being recruited by. So he landed at Weber for a year before he enters the portal

Yeah, he'll be in the portal this time next year looking for a P5 gig with lots of swag.Bullnamed_gus wrote: ↑January 24th, 2023, 6:40 pmI wonder if we didn’t have a spot for him or lost connection when he committed to CU.

Re: We lost out to Weber State
That's exactly it. We offered last spring and once he began to receive P5 offers and subsequently committed to Colorado, we fell off recruiting him and moved on. He had his offer pulled by Coach Prime and had to find a new school.Bullnamed_gus wrote: ↑January 24th, 2023, 6:40 pmI wonder if we didn’t have a spot for him or lost connection when he committed to CU.

Re: We lost out to Weber State
So how good is he really, and have we filled his position with an equal or better player? Was the Weber State thing a last minute event for this young man to get a scholarship?
I get it thatP5 Washington and WSU offered him along with Colorado and I'm not hacking on a player who isn't coming our way,, but the new staff at Colorado very obviously has upgraded their choice of players to recruit to play in Boulder. And this in the face of a new H C at Weber State. .

What’s another loss to Weber State at this point, amirite? Aren’t we all accustomed to that after the last few months?

Yeah, I'm not taking my wife to any Weber State games; I might come home empty handed.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑January 24th, 2023, 8:12 pmWhat’s another loss to Weber State at this point, amirite? Aren’t we all accustomed to that after the last few months?

Re: We lost out to Weber State
Or at least only take her to Weber State games in sports where the conversation is about how the program is a big dumpster fire. Forget games in sports where we are one of five undefeated teams left or coming off a conference championship!FloridaAggie13 wrote: ↑January 24th, 2023, 8:17 pmYeah, I'm not taking my wife to any Weber State games; I might come home empty handed.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑January 24th, 2023, 8:12 pmWhat’s another loss to Weber State at this point, amirite? Re: We lost out to Weber State
While recruiting isn't an exact science, IF he stays at Weber State, I think he'll turn out to be a pretty good player.NavyBlueAggie wrote: ↑January 24th, 2023, 7:47 pmSo how good is he really, and have we filled his position with an equal or better player?
