Have you taken a good drive a round the FresNO area in the past 10 years?

I am not so sure I would be excited to see my very worst enemy's kid head off to go to school there.

I would proceed with a bit of caution.

Plenty of schools with solid acdemics and a nice environment out west.

A quick search of news stories in Fresno showed three homicides in the last three hours…

I'm curious if we make a run at him this time. Maybe?

This is what I mean in getting under the radar California/Texas recruits that are really good. Boise State did it and build national powerhouse back in the 2000s.

I'm not sure how he'd get eligible for 2023 though.

I just don't think it's possible anymore. With social media now anyone can be found, it's made recruiting easier and harder at the same time I'm sure. Besides, whenever we offer someone that's "under the radar", half the board says "he doesn't have enough comparable offers and we need to go for recruits with better offers" but then we offer someone like that the other half says "we have no chance at them, why offer?".

Correct. Damned if we do, damned if we don't.

I have for one have NEVER said “he has too good of offers, why offer him?” I have been less than impressed when we sign players with zero offers or only FCS offers and think we are going to be a consistent winner.
