Flights to Dallas

Post by ronburgandee » December 4th, 2022, 3:25 pm

If anyone knows of cheap flights please let me know. I am heavily considering this game. My wife is a nurse, so I think we could get free tickets. Another perk is I have never been to Dallas.

I may even consider driving if others are looking to split some gas money.

Few if any cheap plane tickets to Dallas. My youngest son lives in Plano (20 north of Dallas) and is the alumni rep in Texas. Also graduated from SMU Law school. He will be involved in pre game Aggie get together. He also gets free game tickets. I can’t make the game, so I’m going crazy.

I got southwest for 500 an hour or two ago. Flights to Houston as low as 350.
Try Allegiant out of Provo. Fly into Austin then drive 2 hours to Dallas.

I'm showing Allegiant at 375 or so per ticket direct flying out 26th and return on the 29th.

Beware with Allegiant, they canceled my Mother in Laws tickets from Provo to JW like 3 times in a row, they aren't the most reliable.

The gentleman asked for cheap, not good. :joking:

This might be a good one for me to get out to.

Things are in place for me to move and Dallas is one of the areas I am considering.

I just have to see a shoe drop here in the next week.

The cheapest ones I found were to Oklahoma City for $275 round trip on Frontier. Fly out Monday and come back Wednesday with a layover in Denver each way. It’s a 3 hour drive down to Dallas.

We booked direct flights to Houston for $420. We’re going to drive up for the USU game and then go to the Texas Bowl the day after.

The only reason we use Allegiant is because they fly to Provo from JW, it's the most convenient for us to get to and from Utah, but every time I fly with them they delay my flight, I can always count on at least that. But to cancel on her 3 times in a row was pretty bad, we're looking at other options next time we fly her out.

For those that make the trip, a couple recommendations for Texas.

* Buccees
* Torchys Tacos
