Re: MWC Post season Awards by Coaches and Media
I really feel like the Edwards 1st team selection was more of a lifetime achievement award than a reflection of how he played this particular season. All the 2nd teamers were well deserved but I think Reynolds is deserving of something more than honorable mention. I am also a little surprised at Grzesiak being named as an honorable mention. Outside of 1 or 2 games it is Vaughns that is the dominant DE that forces the action. Grzesiak and others are often the beneficiary of the havoc he brings. Perhaps voters felt like Vaughns was injured too much this season?

A damn travesty that Vaunghs didn't get anything. He's nearly the best player on our defense.

Add in the finger wagging and dancing and it's even easier to see why the coaches voted for player B.
Go Aggies!

A. The extra tackle and hurry put him over the edge.

Ike not being special teams player of the year is a freaking conspiracy. I don’t care if it’s only open to specialists or not.

Conferences never give our players their due. Remember Bobby Wagner wasn't player of the year his senior season.Imakeitrain wrote: ↑November 29th, 2022, 8:37 pmIke not being special teams player of the year is a freaking conspiracy. I don’t care if it’s only open to specialists or not.
