Hawaii TV
Is the Hawaii game still available to stream on a computer? Usually Spectrum allows to stream but only on a mobile device.

Re: Hawaii TV
Hawaii TV is really weird.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Re: To view Hawaii
I hope it is the same Hawaii announcer that called the amazing USU/Hawaii game in 2011.
The comeback in that game played a big part of our future success for our football program. One of the best Aggie games ever.

Did not know this! He was so good and very unbiased at least in that game. Most fun announcers I’ve ever heard.QuackAttackAggie wrote: ↑November 6th, 2022, 8:46 pmHe diedblueaggie wrote:I hope it is the same Hawaii announcer that called the amazing USU/Hawaii game in 2011.

Re: Hawaii TV
If it's anything like last year (which it most likely is), it will only be available to stream on a mobile device.
I recommend you come to chat. Often times it's so good in there it's almost as if you're watching the game.

Re: To view Hawaii
Yes, there are two threads about this, I'm combining them. Use a mobile app or just come to chat and enjoy the banter in there. Sometimes that's almost as if you're viewing the game.

Re: To view Hawaii
It's too bad that people kept reporting on Twitch. Glimesh is not good. That being said, I'm still very grateful for the person providing the excellent play-by-play, that makes it almost feel like I'm watching the game.

Re: To view Hawaii
We don't like Glimesh either but unfortunately we haven't found anything else that works. We tried 3 or 4 other sites between Twitch and Glimesh and they all resulted in a quick ban.tjensen_25 wrote: ↑November 8th, 2022, 1:26 pmIt's too bad that people kept reporting on Twitch. It's only on the Team1Sports App. There may be an associated cost.

Re: Hawaii TV
It says there are not on any desktop computers or any connected device so it sounds like it might be ok. I'm not sure how they detect what you're on, but I know it might think your laptop is a desktop. Somebody more knowlegable than me will hopefully give you a better answer.

Re: Hawaii TV
Let us know. Just tested a live VB game there and your right, it doesn't give options for chromecast, roku or apple airplay. My wife has wanted that hdmi cable other things, so I'll let her buy it if it works then I'll have one in case.

Re: Hawaii TV
For anyone that has an Android/Google TV, you can sideload the app directly onto your TV. I haven't verified that it'll work with our game, but I was able to stream what is currently on there live and it worked great, so I assume it will work for our game tomorrow. The app isn't optimized for TV, so it's a bit hard to navigate... I ended up using a mouse/keyboard to get around.

Re: Hawaii TV
Sideloading is installing an app directly onto the device without getting it through the Google Play store. In this case, the Team1Sports is only available on mobile and tablets, so it doesn't show up in the Play store if you're looking on your TV.aggies22 wrote:What do you mean sideload?andytheaggie wrote: ↑November 11th, 2022, 8:28 amFor anyone that has an Android/Google TV, you can sideload the app directly onto your TV. Here's an article that walks through how to sideload apps onto Google/Android TV. It's a fairly straightforward process.
https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-s ... ndroid-tv/
Here's a link to the app that I installed on my TV. As I mentioned, this app was built for phone/tablet, so the navigation isn't great. One example is that the app only shows up in portrait mode on your TV as your navigating. However, once you get the game going, it switches to landscape and fills the screen.

Re: Hawaii TV
Agree. If you only pay for tv in any of its forms simply for the Aggies, head to chat during a game and you may just realize that you can ditch your tv subscriptionapo wrote:I never understood why everyone said… “just join the chat” when there were streaming difficulties.
…then I joined the chat. It was a great experience.
