YBU Appealed the Targeting Call and Prevailed
The targeting call that resulted in the ejection of a y player in the USU game was appealed by the University and overturned. He will be allowed to paly against ND. Did the Aggies appeal the call against them?

Suspect as long as the players wear helmets there will be that dreaded Targeting Call.

BA said they did appeal the call against Hall but hasn’t head back yet. The fact YBU already had theirs overturned and we haven’t head back yet leads me to believe it’s likely not going our way.

It seems that for every targeting call that favors USU there are 10 going against USU. If the appeal is not overturned does this mean that Ike will start in place of Gurvan on Saturday since Gurvan would have to sit out the first half? Be interesting to see how he can perform against AF. I really like Ike's speed and agression, it seems like if he can have the right discipline for AF that he could have a big impact.

Who did they appeal to? From what I understand the appeals are handled by the conference. Since they aren't currently in a conference does that mean they can handle their own appeals? would put it past them.

I can’t imagine Notre Dame would not take advantage of the same loop hole if it existed.

They should go back to the days when they played with leather helmets. That would eliminate targeting altogether.

This reeks of the Alpha Beta fraternity in 'Revenge of the Nerds' investigating themselves after trashing the Nerd frat house - the Tri-Lambs, and declaring themselves innocent.
The only way we will get any clout is to take control of the Greek Council by winning the Greek Games during homecoming.
