Another rained out scrimmage?

Post by BigBlueDart » August 11th, 2022, 5:59 pm

Looking at the forecast for Saturday I'm seeing the highest likelihood of rain right when the scrimmage is scheduled to kick off. How did that work out last week? Should I be ready to head to the indoor facility instead of the Mav?

It is like Mother Nature has a big blue dart on the day of raining.

I’ll tell you how it worked out last week. After a tweet by USU Football that said something like “rain or shine we’ll be scrimmaging”, I drove up to Logan with my boy, only to find out that “rain or shine” really meant “shine”.

Got some Himalayan Flavor, walked around Earthly Awakenings for a minute, and came home, not the worst trip.

What did you think of Himalayan Flavor? I've only been there a couple of times, but really liked it.

My wife wants to try that joint. What's the verdict?

Don’t bother. Tandoori is all you need.

We are going to stop by on our way home from rafting. My kids want to get autographs. As much as they want to if it is rained out I won't be depressed as our area really needs the water.

If that happens, and we have a third dry winter in a row causing this drought to continue, what they would then need to do is schedule practices to be open twice or three times a week through out fall camp so we get rain all those days!

They do a good job. They started in Pocatello.
