My kids just talked me into checking out the family Oculus Quest 2. For those of you that are a tad older, these are 3D interactive goggles. I teed up the LA Bowl on YouTube and watched Cooper’s first past for a TD - it was better than being there especially with great headphones. I think I’ve found a whole new way to watch Aggie sports!!!

I’d be surprised if coaching staffs don’t start using 3D goggles for training. The ability to see and experience the game far exceeds a standard TV.

There is a company here in Texas that works with QBs using VR tech. Using them to help get realistic situational preparedness (route timing, reading defenses, etc.). Pretty cool stuff!

VR is being used a lot in baseball especially for hitters to recognize pitches and work on swing timing.

I couldn't find the link on the quest 2. Was it on YouTube V? What did you search?

Over in aviation training departments are looking at vr goggles to put us "in the plane" while we sit in a classroom. Still has some development because we need to feel the switches but it's better than staring at a poster.
