A few things with the number 84.

Tony Pennyman once had an 84 yard kick return against Nevada, when we had Kevin Robinson who was a big threat back then.

In the game against New Mexico in 2016 where we got screwed on the pass interference call, Tarver had 84 yards receiving.

Against Weber State in 2016, Justen Hervey had 84 yards, with 80 coming on one play.

And finally, Calvin Tyler had what was at the time a career best 84 yards in the win over Washington State. The fact that he was our top back, but not the top back at Oregon State, is one thing that would help explain that we really didn't have overwhelming talent to work with.
